Terms of Service

These terms cover use of the VNYPM Compliance tracker by a subscribing property-management company and by Venture NY Property Management LLC.

The software

The software, its design, and the report layouts are the property of Venture NY Property Management LLC (“VNYPM”). A subscription is permission for your company to use the system for the buildings you manage. It is not a sale of the software, and it is not a license to copy it, resell it, or stand up a competing copy.

Your data

Notes, assignments, overrides, uploaded files, saved reports, and the list of buildings your company tracks belong to your company. VNYPM does not sell that data, does not resell it, and does not give it to another subscriber. VNYPM staff cannot open another company’s portfolio. The platform owner can open a company for support, and that access is written to the audit log.

You may export the reports the system produces for your owners and boards. You may not scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or share another company’s information if you somehow come across it.

City records

Records that New York City publishes as open data remain the city’s public records. The same city file may be stored once and shown to every company that tracks that building. Anything your company added on top of those records stays private to your company.

Confidentiality

Each side keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only to run this service. That includes your portfolio, your user list, and the way the software is built. The obligation continues after a subscription ends.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. The price is the one shown at checkout: a monthly amount per active building, an optional base fee, and an annual option when one is offered. A free trial, when offered, is 14 days unless the checkout page says otherwise. If a payment fails, the company stays readable through the grace period and then becomes read-only until the invoice is paid. VNYPM’s own portfolio is not billed.

You can change the card and download invoices in the Stripe customer portal from Company settings. Canceling stops future charges. It does not delete the city’s public records.

Accounts

Your company admin invites users and decides who can edit. You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping passwords private. VNYPM may suspend a company that misses payment or that misuses the service.
